I had a request back in January to list some of my favorite things of 2008. So, I am a little behind...but I have a good excuse...I've been painting! A lot. Anyway...here is the list (in no particular order) better late than never...which i am noticing has become my mantra lately. Oh dear...is February too late to declare a New Year's Resolution!?
1. Fabulous: Soaking in a little west coast style and culture. A trip to Seattle and Portland in January. Just for fun. Loved the Ace Hotel in both cities, good beer, and stunning shopping.
2. Outrageous: Climbing aboard the Yankee for Victoria & Richard Mackenzie-Childs Ferry Boat Ball. Up close and personal with the art and the artists. A feast for the senses. Simply amazing.
3. Breathtaking: Hiking the Long Trail in Vermont. Impossibly hard...but views worth the effort.
4. Terrific: Being a part of the Earth Angels events. Mingling with all the Earth Angels artists, Jen O'Connor...and meeting Jo Packham. I truly am a lucky girl.
5. Astonishing: Making my way to the Country Living Fair in Columbus. Mingling with all the Earth Angels Artists under the tent in the sky. Eating whacky and unforgettable ice-cream with Jane Dagmi and the gals from the mag.
6. Super: Dolling myself and my studio up for a photo shoot for Where Women Create!
7. Marvelous: Spending time in my studio...of course!!
